Poland's Independence Day is a National Day of Poland, celebrated every year on November 11 to commemorate the regained independence of Poland in 1918. The 10 military students of the Polish Naval Academy who received a scholarship for a semester in the Romanian Naval Academy "Mircea cel Batran" celebrated this day by hoisting the Polish flag next to the Romanian one.
