Between 01.11 - 05.11.2021, two students of the Romanian Naval Academy participated in the specialization course "Engineering software in scientific research - simulation of the moving of pollutants (GNOME and ADIOS software)" organized by Piri-Reis University, within the project "Strategic partnership for supporting Blue Growth by enhancing Maritime Higher Education maritime cooperation framework on marine pollution and environment protection field (Blue4Seas)".

The participation of RNA representatives in the events organized within the Blue4Seas project is part of the international activities portfolio and contributes to the training of cadets' competencies in the field of environmental management and pollution on board military ships.

The project is funded by the Erasmus+ program, strategic partnerships KA203 and is coordinated by the Romanian Naval Academy "Mircea cel Batran", being implemented between September 2020 - August 2022, in partnership with French Maritime Academy, University of Ljiublijana, PiriReis University and Lithuanian Maritime Academy.
