Between 22.09-23.09, at the Romanian Naval Academy "Mircea cel Batran" took place the opening seminar of the MARINTECH project - "Romanian - Norwegian Strategic Cooperation in Maritime Higher Education for enhancement human capital and knowledge base in the field of marine intelligent technologies", funded within the EEA Grants - Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 program, the ESAYEP initiative ("The Education, Scholarships, Apprenticeship and Youth Entrepreneurship Program"). The project is coordinated by the Romanian Naval Academy "Mircea cel Batran" and is implemented in partnership with Norwegian University of Science and Technology, between September 2021-September 2023. The main objective of the project is to implement intelligent technologies in the naval and maritime industry, through specific actions training for students and teachers, scientific research and dissemination of current technical and technological innovations in the field of robotics and automation, with applicability in the marine field.
