Blue4Seas - Strategic partnership for supporting Blue Growth by enhancing Maritime Higher Education maritime cooperation framework on marine pollution and environment protection field


The Romanian Naval Academy "Mircea cel Batran" organized between 28.06-02.07 two specialization courses dedicated to teachers and students, within the project Blue4Seas "Strategic partnership for supporting Blue Growth by enhancing Maritime Higher Education maritime cooperation framework on marine pollution and environment protection field" (2020-1-RO01-KA203-080388), implemented as a Lead Partner in the Erasmus+ program, KA203 - Strategic Partnerships for higher education, together with partners from Turkey, Lithuania, France and Slovenia.

Thus, during the mentioned period, 10 teachers and 12 students from RNA, the Lithuanian Maritime Academy, PiriReis University, the University of Ljubljana and the Maritime Academy of France graduated specialization courses in using the PISCES II software package, dedicated to modeling and simulating pollution incidents. In accordance with the project plan of the project, in the next period similar courses will be organized for each of the partners, dedicated to training skills in the field of prevention and management of environmental incidents, based on specialized simulation and modeling software, the project having as principal objective the creation of a network of exchange of good practices and curricular harmonization between partner institutions, in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development in the maritime field.
