On March 26, 2021 the Romanian Naval Academy "Mircea cel Batran" hosted the visit of the delegation leaded by the Chief of Defense Staff of the Kingdom of Spain, Am. Lopez Calderon, accompanied by the Chief of the Romanian Defense Staff, Gen.Lt. Daniel Petrescu and the Chief of Staff of the Romanian Naval Forces, CAm Mihai Panait.

The presentation of RNA took place in the Senate hall and included both functional aspects regarding the organization and functioning of RNA as a military higher education institution, as well as descriptive elements regarding the material base and facilities of instruction, education and scientific research developed within the Naval Academy. During the presentation, concrete aspects on the potential of cooperation between the naval academies were discussed and future activities were identified that could facilitate the diversification of joint actions in the field of training of military cadets (training voyages on board training ships, seamanship training camps, tactical exercises through simulation or exchanges of teachers and students within the EMILYO program).

After the presentation, the Spanish delegation toured the ANMB material base, visiting the following training objectives: the integrated navigation simulator (NETPRO500 and ERS 5000), Proteus ASTT tactical simulator, Link 11 simulator, robotics laboratory, and STING simulator RAY.
