Turkish officers and cadets from the Turkish landing craft "Sancaktar" visited the "Mircea cel Batran" Naval Academy and the "Mircea" Training Ship, during the stopover they carried out between September 3 and 6 in port of Constanta. The ship is in Constanta for the first time and has on board 262 military students from the Naval Academy from Istanbul.
        The visit of the Turkish officers and cadets is part of a series of activities designed to develop bilateral relations between the Romanian Naval Forces and the Turkish Naval Forces, to increase trust between allies, to strengthen security in the Black Sea area, as well as to develop the cooperation in the field of naval military education in the two countries.
