Between July 15 and 19, the Naval Academy "Mircea cel Batran" organized at the Center for Marine Training and Water Sports in Palazu Mare, a military and marine training camp with international participation. Along with the Romanian military students, four students from the Naval Academy "Nikola Vaptsarov" from Varna, Bulgaria and two students from the Naval Academy from Odessa, Ukraine, nominated within the NATO-DEEP program (Defense Enhancement Education) participated in the specialized training course. Romanian and foreign cadets performed specific training sessions in the field of sailing boats, training activities on the navigation simulator, as well as practical seafaring activities related to the specialized practical training program of 1st year. Common training and social activities organized during the training module contributed to the development of the abilities of the military students of interaction in international and multicultural context, constituting a plus in their training as military leaders and specialists of the Naval Forces.
