Technical planning meeting for the 22nd edition of the European Naval Academies' Superintendents Conference


Between May 28 and 30, the ANMB delegation, formed by the Vice-Rector for International Programs and Relations, Lt.col.dr. Catalin POPA and the head of the Bureau of Programs and International Relations, Lt. Marius CUCU, participated at the technical planning meeting of the 22nd European Naval Academies' Superintendents Conference, hosted by the Naval Academy "Nikola Y. Vaptsarov", in Varna, Bulgaria. The planning activities were attended by delegates from 19 naval academies in Europe and the USA. During the discussions, the conditions for organizing the conference in 2020 at the Britannia Royal Naval College, in Dartmouth, UK, were established. On the same occasion, the representatives of the naval academies established the agenda of discussions, respectively the format for the next conference. As organizers of the last conference and holders of the educational forum presidency, the ANMB delegation presented the conclusions of the last meeting in Constanta (May 2018), a session in which lessons learned were scored and various recommendations were made for British partners.
