A delegation of the "Mircea cel Batran" Naval Academy formed by of 6 students, led by Lt. Col. Cristinel OLARU, head of the Marine Training and Water Sports Center, participated, between April 29 and May 4, 2019, in the XXI Edition of the International Nautical Competition organized by the Tuzla Naval Academy in Turkey.
         Within the competition, sports teams from marine education institutions from Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, China, Great Britain, Pakistan, Azerbaijan, Oman and South Korea competed.
         The sports team of the Romanian cadets ranked 5th overall.
