Between November 14 and 15, the visit of the Chief of the Greek Naval Forces, Vice Admiral Nikolaos TSOUNIS in Romania took place at the invitation of Vice Admiral Alexandru MIRSU, Chief of the Romanian Naval Forces.
         During his visit in Romania, the Greek military officer made a working and information visit to the "Mircea cel Batran" Naval Academy, in which he was presented the education, research and training infrastructure. The agenda included both the analysis of joint projects developed recently with the Greek Naval Academy, as well as identification of opportunities for inter-academic cooperation in the field of military research, training and education. The cooperation program with the Naval Academy of Greece was established by the inter-institutional agreement signed in 2017 and has so far materialized in student exchanges within leadership training modules, tactical training through simulation or during the annual cadet internships on board partners' school ships.
