During May 7th to 11th, a delegation consisting of six cadets of the "Mircea cel Batran" Naval Academy, led by Commander Lucian Neacsu, had participated to the 20th edition of the International Nautical Competition, organized by the Naval Academy in Tuzla, Turkey. The competitors have met their colleagues from other naval academies worldwide as from Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, China, Italy, Great Britain, Pakistan, Tunisia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh and South Korea. The Romanian cadets were ranked on the 4th position, winning two gold medals at the top (swimming 200m mixed and 100m brass).
