The workshop was attended by representatives of companies on the labor market in the North Sea area.
In the first part of the workshop, the project team presented the purpose, general and specific objectives, as well as the activities and results of the MARINTECH project achieved so far (curriculum and course module "Applications of intelligent technologies in the maritime industry") from the perspective of new technologies in field, the labor market requirements for the training of human capital in the field of smart marine technologies, as well as the innovative teaching/learning/assessment methods implemented in the curriculum and the course module. In the second part of the workshop, there were debates between NTNU staff from the project and participants on the topics discussed in the first part of the workshop. The project team from MBNA also participated in this workshop session via video conference.
30 Sep 2022 - Workshop on "Cooperation and partnerships between education and labor market on marine intelligent technologies in the Black Sea area"
On 30.09.2022 at the "Mircea cel Batrân" Naval Academy,
the "Cooperation and partnerships between education and labor market on marine intelligent
technologies in the Black Sea area" workshop took place within the "Romanian - Norwegian Strategic
Cooperation in Maritime" project Higher Education for enhancement human capital and knowledge base
in the field of marine intelligent technologies" - Marintech,
financed by the EEA Grants - Financial Mechanism 2014-2021: The Education, Scholarships, Apprenticeships,
and Youth Entrepreneurship Program (ESAYEP), 2014-2021.
The project teams from the Naval Academy and the Norwegian University
of Science and Technology Alesund (online) presented the intellectual results obtained within
the project to the labor market representatives of the maritime industry: The project website,
the curriculum, and the course modules "Intelligent technologies applications in maritime industry ",
the e-learning platform - VTP, as well as the training mobilities carried out by master's students
and professors in the two partner universities.
25 Jul 2023 - Workshop on "MARINTECH contribution on enhancing the human capital and knowledge versus the current labour market demands in the North Sea area"
The workshop will take place at NTNU university in M23, with 20 participants, representatives of companies from the labor market in the North Sea area. In the first part of the workshop, the project team will make a synthesis of the activities carried out within the project from the last workshop until that date and will make a presentation of the intellectual results obtained within the intensive programs. They will also make an inventory of the feedback obtained during the project activities (first workshop, staff mobility, student mobility, summer schools) and how to implement them to improve the curriculum and the course modules "Intelligent technologies applications in maritime industry". In the second part of the workshop, there will be debates between the academic staff and participants on the topic presented in the first part. At the end of the workshop, the participants will receive a feedback questionnaire, on paper, in which they will express their point of view on the topic discussed during the workshop. The MBNA project team will also participate in the workshop by video-conference- VTP - marplat.eu.
